I am a collector from Andorra. We share head of state, but not language.
I have done a significant amount of work with the System/23 Datamaster. I started reverse-engineering of a 5322-124 as of 2022 and accomplished various achievements such as:
Discovering the real CPU frequency of the computer's CPU
Starting dumping campaigns for the computer firmware, not limited to the motherboard
Found the I/O map of the motherboard
Written the first known emulator for the computer
Repaired three units
Fought misinformation and rewriting articles
Recovered part of the oral history of that computer
For this reason, I would like to kindly request access to the Technosaures nº7 article explaining the origins of the PC for revision purposes, please. Also, in case this was granted, a communication line with the redactor of the article in case an errata had to be issued, please.
I am open to share what I have found during the last four and a half years with no cost. The System/23 has been shrouded in obscurity since it was released, and rumors were accepted as facts as few people had access to the real hardware and no one examined it seriously until now. I have spent a lot of time during that time correcting the information at the network in order to end with that misinforation.
As a result of that work, I was able to make a quatrilateral comparation between the System/23 electronics, the PC development notes, the PC prototype and the actual 5150 electronics. And that allowed me to formulate informed questions that was able to bring to one of the PC developers and actually obtain useful answers. Also, as a result of networking we found another PC-related computer that was missed by history.
Again, I would like to ask for collaboration on this subject, please. In case affirmative, you can find my contact details in my website: https://bitspassats.com/
